  Used luxury car market grew by 4% in 2022

  Unlike the market of new luxury cars, which fell by 58% last year, the situation with used luxury looks quite optimistic. According to the data of agency "AUTOSTAT", in 2022, residents of the Russian Federation purchased 1927 used cars of the Luxury segment. This is 4% higher than in 2021 (1861 units). About a half of the total (45%) belonged to Bentley brand, which is 866 units.

This is 15% lower than in the same month of the previous year (151 units). About a half (47%) of this amount belonged to the Bentley brand, which is 60 cars.

  Sales of used cars of the Luxury segment in April 2022 fell by more than a quarter, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency stated, based on the results of processing and analyzing the data of Electronic Passport JSC. So, for the whole April, Russians purchased 162 luxury cars with mileage - 26% lower than in the same month of the previous year.

So, according to the agency "AUTOSTAT", in the last winter month of 2021, Russians purchased 163 luxury used cars (in February 2020, there were 155 units).

  The market of new luxury cars fell by 61% in February

  According to the analytical agency AUTOSTAT, the volume of the Russian market of new cars of the Luxury segment in February 2021 was 39 units. This is lower by 61% than a year ago (100 units). Note that the fall affected five of the seven brands that we traditionally refer to the luxury segment.

  74% of car parc of Luxury segment is concentrated in Moscow

  There were 2175 of brand Bentley cars, 559 of Maserati, 519 of Rolls Royce, 423 of Ferrari, 295 of Aston Martin and 139 of Lambarghini cars in Russia as of the beginning of 2012. Therewith, almost two third of them (74,1%) were registered in Moscow region. The number of these cars increased approximately by 10% for the prevoius year, when the car parc of Russia grew only by 4%, noted analysts of AUTOSTAT agency.
