  The Russians began to buy new Euro-2 vehicles

  For the first time in a long time, new vehicles of Euro-2 standard began to be sold again in Russia. This was discovered by AUTOSTAT experts after processing and analysis of the data on the passenger car market from Electronic Passport company.

  KAMAZ will offer Euro-2 class trucks to buyers

  Since April 2022, KAMAZ will offer its dealers K3 generation trucks with Euro-2 emission class engines. At the same time, it is still impossible to register such equipment in Russia. Trucks of Euro-2 eco-class KAMAZ still produces, but in small lots. These are mainly "dual-use vehicles", as well as export deliveries to African and Latin American countries.

  More than 50% of passenger cars in Russia do not correspond to “Euro-2” standards

  More than a half (51%) of Russian parc of passenger cars do not correspond to ecologic standard “Euro-2”. These data were received by analysts of AUTOSTAT agency by the results of conducted analysis of car parc of Russia. About 16,1% of passenger cars in our country correspond to norms “Euro-2”, 15,4% - “Euro-3”, “Euro 4/5” – 17,5%.
