Dynamics of the Russian car market in February of 2019
In February of 2019, sales of new cars in Russia fell by 3.6% in compare with February of 2018. The mass segment for the second month in a row shows a negative trend (-4.8%). Its sales amounted to 112,135 vehicles, which is 90.6% of the total sales.

According to JSC "PPK" *, in July of this year, 1106 new electric cars were sold in Russia (both officially presented on the market and imported through parallel imports). And this is 8 times higher than in the same month of 2022. Volkswagen is the leader here - in July, the "electric" products of the German brand sold 184 vehicles (an increase of 8.8 times in compare with July last year).

The most popular new electric vehicles in Russia are American and German
80% of all purchased new electric cars in our country belong to American and German brands, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency report with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. So, according to the results of 10 months of 2022, Russians purchased 843 American electric vehicles, which is 40.3% of the total.
