  In our country, there are 5.366 million vehicles owned by legal entities, which is 10% of the total. Such data are contained in the report "Corporate fleet of vehicles in the Russian Federation as of 01.07.2023", prepared by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT".

  The share of legal entities in car sales reached 22%

  In Q1 2023, 36.9 thousand new cars were sold to legal entities in Russia, which is 30% lower than in January-March 2022. This is reported by the experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. At the same time, experts noted that the share of legal entities during this period was 22% of the total, and a year before this figure was 20%.

  How many vehicles are in the possession of legal entities?

  Every tenth vehicle in our country is registered as a legal entity. This conclusion was reached by the experts of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", having analyzed the structure of the park as of mid-2021. Thus, among 59.2 million registered vehicles, legal entities account for 9.7%, or 5.7 million in quantitative terms.

  Purchases of passenger cars by legal entities grew by 39%

  In January-April, 83 thousand new passenger cars were registered for legal entities in Russia. This is 39% higher than for the first 4 months of the previous year. This is the conclusion reached by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" during the preparation of the review "Monthly statistics of vehicle accounting on the balance sheet of legal entities in Russia."
