  Under the pressure of external circumstances, KAMAZ is completing the assembly of K4 generation trucks ahead of schedule, which, according to the strategic plan, were already preparing to be replaced by K5 vehicles. Yuri Gerasimov, First Deputy General Director of KAMAZ, Executive Director, announced this, by noting that now all efforts are directed to the localization of the latest generation and its flagship, the KAMAZ-54901 tractor.

  KIA K5 and new Sorento set sales records in Russia in April

  Russian KIA dealers sold 19,101 vehicles in April, which is 4.4 times higher than in the previous year. According to the results of four months of 2021, 70,725 KIA cars were sold in Russia, which is 26% higher than in the same period of the previous year. As a result, KIA keeps the leadership among foreign automakers in Russia, and the brand's market share was 13.7% versus 13.5% a year before, according to the AEB.

  KAMAZ plans to double the production of K5 generation trucks

  KAMAZ, according to the business plan for this year, intends to produce 2.4 thousand new generation K5 vehicles. According to Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ, it is planned to produce 6.7 thousand K5 trucks in 2022 and over 11 thousand - in 2023. In this regard, the readiness of suppliers is important, the press service of KAMAZ reports.
