  For 45 years, almost 2.5 million LADA Niva SUVs have been produced

  April 5th marks the 45th anniversary of the start of production of the VAZ-2121 Niva SUV, which is now called LADA Niva Legend. During this time, almost 2.5 million vehicles were produced, among which 700,000 were exported to more than 100 countries, the press service of AVTOVAZ reports.

  The bestseller in the SUV segment in the Russian market in May was LADA Niva SUV. Last month, the sales of this family, consisting of Niva Legend and Niva Travel models, were 6169 vehicles that is 2.2 times higher than a year before, according to the data of the Association of European Businesses.
