  Gorky Automobile Plant resumed its work after a corporate vacation, which took place from July 26 to August 6. During this period, the enterprise underwent modernization of production aimed at increasing the capacity for the production of all-metal vans of the Next and NN families due to the growing demand for these models.   GAZ launched the production of vehicles with the telematics unit GAZ Connect

  Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) has started the production of vehicles, on which the access unit to telematics services GAZ Connect is installed. The installation of the GAZ Connect unit is free for customers, it will be included in the basic equipment and will not affect the price of the car, informed the press service of GAZ. As noted, GAZ became the first Russian automaker, which included telematic units in the standard equipment of produced vehicles.

  Every fourth sold car in the Russian Federation – is a domestic brand

  According to the evaluation of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", for the first 4 months of 2018 in Russia it was sold 137.7 thousand cars of domestic brands, which is more by 18% than the result of a year ago. Given that the whole volume of the Russian market (together with LCV) for this period was 545.3 thousand units (+ 20.5%), it turns out that the share of domestic brands was 25.2%, or every fourth sold car.

  GAZ presented new models of special equipment for the agro-industrial complex

  Gorky Automobile Plant introduced new models of special equipment, created on the basis of Next generation cars. Among the presented novelties there are two van-refrigerators built on the GAZelle Next chassis with a total mass of 4.6 tons - the newest model of GAZ, the production of which began in Nizhny Novgorod in December of 2017.
