Dealer networks continue to grow

Almost all big car dealers in Russia came back gradually to the pre-crisis level of sales. Among them regional dealers showed the highest growth by the results of 2010 – they added in average 50-70% of income with the growth of market by 30%.

At the present time there are more than 4 thousand of dealer centres of all brands that are officially presented in the territory of Russian Federation. These data are given in the marketing report “Dealer networks of car producers in RF” that is about car retail in our country.

The recovery of Russian car market, which was started in 2010, was continued also in 2011. Thereby, the dealer network increasing is typical for the majority of car producers during this period. Though, there are some companies that decreased the number of dealers.

AutoVAZ has traditionally the biggest dealer network in our country. So, it has 433 dealer centres by sales and maintenance of LADA cars at the present time. As exactly Togliatti car plant was the unique one in our country, which seriously developed the service and sales networks before the beginning of 90s of the previous century. Thereby, at the beginning of 2000s AutoVAZ had more than 500 of dealer centres.

The most developed dealer network among foreign brands belongs to Chevrolet. Cars under this brand are sold by 155 of dealer centres in Russia.
