A semitrailer tractor with an index of 65209 – the next model of a new family of cars - was assembled at the KAMAZ plant. Until the end of the month, seven such vehicles will be transferred to the KAMAZ trade and finance company, informs the press service of KAMAZ.

Recall, a three-axle tractor KAMAZ-65209 was first introduced in September of the last year at the exhibition "Comtrans-2017". The new car has a 6x2 wheel formula and a rear lift axle, which allows you to save fuel when riding without a load or without a semi-trailer. As noted, the assembly of the model did not cause any special difficulties: it contains the same design solutions as in other vehicles of the new model line, the production of which was started by the leader of the Russian truck engineering in 2013-2014.

The cabin of the novelty is the same as that in the flagship - the KAMAZ-5490 - a high double; the chassis is long-bodied as in KAMAZ-65206. And the lifting axle, which is also needed to distribute evenly the load on the middle bridge, was first used on the model 65208. The assembly scheme of the vehicle almost completely corresponds to the assembly of the KAMAZ-65206 predecessor, with the only difference - the lifting axle installation takes place on a separate platform.
