The Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand introduced the new Transporter Kasten AllCity with a maximum permissible weight of 2.49 tons. This feature will allow the novelty to pass the existing restrictions on the movement of trucks in Moscow. The prices and the start date for the sales of the new Volkswagen Transporter Kasten AllCity will be announced additionally, reported the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles press service.

AllCity is not a single package, but a whole family of cars. As with conventional Transporter, customers can choose the dimensions and equipment of the car in accordance with the objectives of their business. For the choice it is offered long-wheelbase and short-base versions with three versions of the roof height.

Motor range consists of diesel and gasoline engines with a power range from 102 to 150 hp, capable of working in pairs with both manual and automatic transmissions. Due to the need to reduce the mass of the car, the novelty is offered only with a drive to the front wheels. There are no other constructive differences between Volkswagen Transporter Kasten AllCity. The power structure of the body, suspension and transmission elements have the same safety factor as the conventional Transporter.
