The market of used cars grew by 2% in the first half of the year
According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", by the results of 6 months of 2018, the volume of the market of used cars in Russia was 2.54 million units, which is more by 2% than in the same period of the last year. At the same time, 480.6 thousand of such cars were sold in June, which is more by 4.8% than a year ago.

In Russia, it was extended a program of preferential car loans
The Russian government extended the program of preferential car loans for 2018-2020. According to the Cabinet of Ministers, the adopted decisions will permit to sell 45,100 cars through the mechanism of preferential car loans in 2018, 5,800 of which will be sold in the Far Eastern Federal District. The total amount of funding for the program is 15 billion rubles.

"Mazda Sollers" increased the production by 49% in the first half of the year

Sales of LADA Largus grew by 53%
For 6 months of 2018, there were sold 20,989 LADA Largus cars in the Russian market, which is more by 53.3% than the last year's figures (13,687 units). In general, the share of the LAV segment (which includes "Largus") in total sales of passenger cars also grew from 2.2% in the first half of 2017 up to 2.9% in the first half of 2018.

MPV segment showed the highest growth in the Russian car market
In the first half of 2018, positive dynamics is observed in all segments of the automotive market in Russia, but the most significant growth was among minivans and compacts (MVPs). The experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" fixed as a result of the evaluation of sales of new passenger cars in Russia in January-June. For 6 months of 2018, according to AEB data, sales of MPV segment cars in our country grew by 72.3% in compare with January-June of 2017 and they were 9.2 thousand units.
