The Russian LCV market remained the sixth in the European Championship in April. According to the European Association of Automobile Manufacturers (ACEA), sales of light commercial vehicles in Europe rose by 10% in April up to 168,778 units. The leader among European countries by sales of LCV to 3,5 tons became again France, where this segment was 38,681 vehicles (+ 6.9%)

Exports of cars from Russia fell by more than half
According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the volume of Russian exports of cars (excluding the countries belonging to the Customs Union) in the 1st quarter of 2018 was 4.6 thousand units. This is less by 57% than the result of a year ago. More than 60% of this amount falls on LADA cars, which from January to March were exported in amount of 2.9 thousand units in total. In the second place among the brands there is Volkswagen (566 units) and Hyundai closes the top three (355 units).

The construction of a plant for the production of Mercedes cars in the Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow region is in full swing, said the head of the district, Andrei Churakov. "In June of last year we laid the first stone in the industrial park "Esipovo" in the construction of this plant. Today there are already workshops, the equipment was delivered to the paint and varnish complex, in November we plan to conduct the testing of the line.
