"AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS" is an annual project of the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", which is a survey of car owners according to a certain methodology and makes it possible to compare assessment indicators over time.

Where the imported cars came from?
According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", for the first 9 months of 2018 the volume of import by legal entities of passenger cars (new and used) to Russia was 173.7 thousand units. Moreover, every third car arrived to us from Japan (57.2 thousand units), and every sixth one came from Germany (27.7 thousand units).

KAMAZ is going to start the serial production of trucks under brand KAMAZ with usage of components of German concern Daimler AG. It should be reminded that the first truck KAMAZ with components of Daimler was presented in Moscow in autumn of 2011. Production of Jeep in Russia starts in 2013
Italian car producer Fiat SpA could start the production of cars under brand Jeep in Russia in 2013, said the executive director of Fiat, Sergio Marchionne. Negotiations between Russia and Fiat do not stand still and the final agreement about the joint venture creation must be signed in the middle of year, said the manager of Jeep, Michael Manly.

FAS will forbid distributors to press car dealers
Federal antimonopoly service of Russia could initiate changes in a law of regulation of relationship between distributors and car dealers. The head of management of control in social sphere and trade of FAS, Timofei Nizhegorodtsev, informed about it. He remarked that at the present time distributors discriminate car dealers by setting for them unequal conditions that is reflected on the final price of cars and spare parts for consumers.

Yokohama started the production of tyres in plant in Lipetsk
Japanese producer of tyres Yokohama launched the Russian production in Lipetsk and it is ready to produce new covers in the market. As it was known by «РBК daily», the official opening of plant should be on May 30th, so the bad weather won’t spoil the cutting of ribbon.

Official dealers increased sales of used cars
Official dealers increased sales of used cars, while this market fell down, according to data of magazine “Autobusiness review”. But their share in sales of used cars is still small – 4%. As wrote newspaper “Vedomosti” with referring to ranking of “Autobusiness review”, TOP-50 of companies sold 96 thousand of used cars for 2011 and it is more by 35,6% than in the year before. Thereby, according to estimation of AUTOSTAT agency, the total market of used cars in 2011 decreased by 3% and it was 3,98 million units. So, though the share of official dealers increased in this market, it is still small: 50 big companies occupied only 2,4% of market in quantitative terms, said the chief editor of “Autobusiness review”, Sergey Baranov.

The deficit of cars and price growth are expected in the Russian market
Deliveries of new cars in dealer centres will be stopped from April 1st, warned car producers. Federal road agency (Rosavtodor) introduced such strict traffic in spring roads that even empty car transporters won’t be able to move.

New Lada Priora will be more than the present generation
New generation of flagman Lada Priora will be longer and wider than the existing model, informed the director of engineering of AutoVAZ, Alen Dibuan. “Model range is increasing. Some of new cars will base on the existing models. The other part will base on platform B0. Besides, we are developping almost absolutely new platform to change Lada Priora. This is platform B, which is more modern, effective and attractive, it is Russian development by 90%”, - cited the words of Mr. Dibuan the publishing “AutoSreda”. – “It embodied partially ideas that were appeared during the creation of model 2116 (Project C).

Sedan Chrysler 300C of new generation will cost 2 million 290 thousand Roubles in the Russian market. For comparison, the six-cylinder Chrysler 300 costs from 33470 dollars in USA – about 1 million Roubles, remarked Motor.Ru.
