Car plants of St. Petersburg set a new record
According to data of «Auto-Dealer-SPB» agency, St. Petersburg plants Hyundai, General Motors, Nissan and Toyota produced 259 thousand cars in 2011 and it was 3,7 times more than in 2010. Therewith, plants of city produced 32100 cars in December and it was 3,7 times more than in December of 2010 and it is the maximum indicator of cars production for a month for the whole history of St. Petersburg car industry.

Yekaterinburg became the fifth by size regional market in Russia
According to data of «Auto-Dealer-Yekaterinburg», it was sold 85088 of new passenger cars in 2011 and it was more by 60% or by 31758 vehicles than in the year before. Yekaterinburg became the fifth city of Russia by sales volume after Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara and Kazan.
