Lada Granta will get upgraded engine
Lada Granta cars, the serial production of which was started yesterday in AutoVAZ, will be equipped with three power aggregates in dependence on configuration. AUTOSTAT agency was informed about it in the ceremony of new model launch and it was remarked that the upgraded 8-valves engine (90 HP) with volume 1,6L was developed for Granta.

By the results of ten months of 2011 sales of Citroen cars were 31% with the present credit offers. Citroen Company together with Citroen Financial Services offered special terms of loans with the decreased interest rate from 2% for 12 months for a purchase of a new Citroёn C4 till December 31st.

AutoVAZ started the serial production of Lada Granta
AutoVAZ started the serial production of new low cost car Lada Granta on November 29th. Since that day all new Lada Granta will be delivered to dealers for implementation of orders that were received on web site www.lada.ru and for forming the stock that provide a choice of configurations and colours. This car will be on sale in December of 2011.

Sollers and Mazda creates the joint venture in Far East
On November 26th Sollers Company and Japanese car producer Mazda Motor Corp. signed a memorandum about intents, according to which the parties plan to launch a new joint venture on the site of «Sollers – Far East». The joint venture will work on parities basement and production is planned to be launched the next year. New enterprise will produce cars for the further sales in the Russian market.

Italian car producer Fiat closed a plant in Termini Imerese near Palermo. Therewith, the production of cars was stopped two years ago after the decision has been announced. Management of company explained the stop of assembly of cars on Sicily by the high cost of logistics.

“BelAz” will deliver mining trucks to “Mechel” during 10 years
Byelorussian vehicle plant (BelAZ) and “Mechel” company concluded an agreement about delivery of mining trucks for ten years. Besides, “BelAZ” will deliver spare parts to dump trucks, organize production of trucks platforms and mining trucks in facilities of “Mechel” and it will also lead an assessment of subsidiary of “Mechel” as one of service centre of Byelorussian company.
