Car tires: car owners' preferences" conducted a survey on the choice and operation of winter tires. The results of a survey that was conducted in November showed that 94.2% of respondents “change” their tires for the winter ones and only 5.8% do not have a second set of tires.

Nissan became the leader of the Moscow car market

For four months of 2014, it was sold 225.7 thousand new cars by Moscow dealers. According to statistics of the magazine “AutoBusinessReview”, capital market (excluding indicators of auto centers located in major suburban cities – Podolsk, Chekhov and so on) has almost kept the level of the same period of the last year, a decrease was only 0.3%.

First leader of sales in Moscow became Nissan: brand increased result of January-April of last year by almost a quarter by finding 17.4 thousands of buyers. Korean duo of Hyundai and Kia, which occupies together more than 15% of the capital market, each of them retains a small gap from the “Japanese” car (about 100 cars each). Therewith, brands show mixed trends: Hyundai showed growth by 3.9%, while the Kia lost almost the same. But soon the situation should change: Nissan (3849 units) dropped two places in April, and Kia became a leader (5,418 units). Fourth place of ranking for the first four months is occupied by Volkswagen: German brand has reduced sales by 5.5% - up to 15 thousand units. The best dynamics in the Top 25 was shown by following Toyota: increase in volume was 26 %, while sales reached almost 13.9 thousand cars.

Position of AvtoVAZ in Moscow in January- April remains volatile: the decline in demand reached 18.7%, while the share of Lada in the capital - is a little more than 5%. Sales of Suzuki decreased almost by the same amount, and Ford and Peugeot have the worse sales than others in the Top 25: both brands have attracted less by 20% of clients than a year before.
