At the same time, in December of 2018, sales of new cars were 158.3 thousand units, which is more by 3.9% than a year ago. As for crossovers and SUVs, their sales in January-December grew by 18.1% in compare with 2017 and they were 729.2 thousand cars. The segment's share in total sales grew by 1.7 percentage points and reached 43.6%.

Suzuki plant began the production of the new SX4 in Hungary
The first New SX4 of C- segment came off the assembly line at Suzuki plant in Hungary on Wednesday.
This is a car, in which the engineers were able to combine the best style, practicality, driveability and fuel efficiency. Each owner of this model will get the pleasure from driving. Due to its versatility New SX4 is a perfect tool, both in the city and in the country.
It is planned to produce and to sell about 100,000 cars for the first year. New SX4 will appear not only in the majority of European countries, including Russia, but also in the markets of Asia, Middle East, South America and Oceania this autumn.
New SX4 will appear in the Russian market at the end of November.
