German concern Daimler will invest EUR 2 billion in the construction of a plant in China

German carmaker Daimler plans to invest EUR 2 billion in the construction of the largest plant in China. The head of Chinese subdivision Daimler, Hubertus Troska, said that the construction of the plant will allow the company to double its production in the country and to increase the number of produced cars to 200,000 cars per a year. Daimler also plans to increase its annual sales in the country to 300,000 vehicles by 2015, including imports.
