    Experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" in the framework of the new research "AUTOSTAT OMNIBUS - 2018. Car tires: car owners' preferences" conducted a survey on the choice and operation of winter tires. The results of a survey that was conducted in November showed that 94.2% of respondents “change” their tires for the winter ones and only 5.8% do not have a second set of tires.

“Rolf” is going to increase sales by 23% in 2013

Retail subdivision “Rolf” is going to sell 83,160 vehicles in 2013 and to show the growth of 23% by 2012. This goal is much higher than the expected market growth and “Rolf” plans to undertake several important steps in the business development to achieve it. For example, the number of dealer centres with the further emphasis on the premium-segment development will be increased in 2013. Besides, the significant attention will be paid to the direction of corporate sales development as well as increase of number of repeat purchases by the existing clients of “Rolf”. Considering the growing competence in the market, the retail subdivision “Rolf” plans the further service range expanding, particularly in the after-sale service area.  

With regard to the market assessment in 2013, “Rolf” considers two possible scenarios for the market situation development. According to pessimistic scenario, sales volume of new cars will grow by 2.7% to 3,01 million cars in Russia in 2013, among which 2,28 million will fall on foreign cars. According to optimistic scenario, sales of new cars will reach the volume of 3,19 million units, which is a 8.9% increase on 2012 and volume of foreign cars will increase to 2,55 million cars.

Retail subdivision “Rolf” increased sales of new cars by 14% in 2012 by selling 67,847 cars. The share of “Rolf” in the market of new foreign cars has not changed in comparison with 2011 and it remained at the level of 3.1-3.2%. Subdivision BlueFish, which is responsible for used car sales, has also the growth of 27% to 12,438 cars, which is also higher than market rate by 13%.

“The past year and market growth rates has demonstrated that Russia is rapidly moving to the Western model, where the annual sales growth is less than 5% and the success of market players depends on the ability of business diversification”, - remarked the chief managing director of subdivision “Rolf, Tatyana Lukovetskaya. – “It’s about as brand portfolio, so the most effective combination of different areas for car dealers: sales of new cars and used cars, finance services, after-sale service and additional services”.
