There will be new producers of components in Togliatti and Yelabuga

Expert council of industrial and production SEZ of Ministry of economic development approved business plans of eight companies-residents, which are going to realize projects in industrial zones “Lipetsk”, “Alabuga” and “Togliatti”. The summary volume of investments that were announced by new investors is 17,2 billion Roubles.

As informed «AutoBusiness info», the residents of industrial zones are companies from Germany (Mubea), USA (General Motors), Turkey (Coskunoz) and Japan (Sanoh). In particular, it is planned to build the production of bodies for new generation of Chevrolet Niva crossovers in SEZ “Togliatti” (the total volume of investments will be 6,2 billion Roubles) and also the enterprise of production of automotive suspensions, stabilizers and springs (717 million Roubles) and the plant of components in the segment of brake and fuel systems (784 million Roubles).

SEZ “Alabuga” will be supplemented by projects of body details productions creation by order of car producers. The main client will be “Ford Sollers Holding” that locates in this zone (the volume of announced investments is 2,29 billion Roubles). Another investor is going to build a plant of industrial goods, corrosion protection and abrasive materials (investments are estimated in amount of 1,9 billion Roubles).
