KAMAZ sold 100% of enterprise of Mefro Wheel disks production

KAMAZ sold 100% of authorized capital of "Mefro Wheels Russia plant Zainsk", the enterprise of disks production. Agreement about sale of business was concluded with German Mefro Wheels GmbH Company in April of 2011. The sum of deal was not revealed, wrote newspaper "Vedomosti".

As informed Dr. Alfred Fishbacher, the managing shareholder of "Mefro Wheels" and General Manager of new company "Mefro Wheels Russia" during the purchase of the plant of KAMAZ, the main products of which are disks for trucks, Mefro Wheels make an important step of entering and strengthening positions in the Russian market. "If we have our own plant in the quickly growing and interesting for us market then we have a possibility to deliver actual high quality disks as for KAMAZ, so for its partner in the joint venture "Mercedes Benz Trucks Vostok" and also to other producers of trucks in Russia as to exist ones, so to new ones", - said Dr. Alfred Fishbacher. By the long-term agreement of delivery that was concluded between parties "Mefro Wheels" guarantees to KAMAZ as deliveries of disks, so deliveries of wheels that are necessary for trucks production.
