Japanese car concerns restore production, decreased due to the flood in Thailand

Japanese car concerns gradually restore production in Thailand, decreased due to the effect of the flood occurred in this country. 

Honda concern announced that on 1-2 December the operation of all six plants in the USA will be resumed completely. According PRIME agency, due to the foulups in supplying components the production was decreased by 50%. After a month of slowdown Mitsubishi resumed production of all its four models at the plant in the east of Thailand. Toyota announced about readiness to resume the enterprise’s operation on 21 November.

However some plants of other companies are located in the regions of the country, which are still drowned, Finmarket agency reports. The representatives of these car concerns said that they “still can not plan when their conveyers will be able resume operation”.

About 460 Japanese companies, including Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Nissan, Canon and other were affected by the flood and had to decrease or suspend production at their plants in Thailand.
