Chery will introduce automatic cars in the Russian market

Chery.jpgIn 2012 Chinese car manufacturer Chery will introduce cars with robotic gear box in the Russian market.

According to Gennadiy Pavlov, the director of official Chery distributor in Russia, at present Chery loses many potential customers. First of all they are big city dwellers, who have to spend a lot of time in the traffic jams: they prefer cars with robotic transmission, which combines all advantages of automatic and manual gear boxes.

According to AutoNews.Ru, the Bonus, the Very and the IndiS will get robotic transmissions. The cars with the new package will go on sale in Spring, however the new prices have not been announced yet. We should remind, that the prices for the cars with manual gear box are as follows: the Bonus costs 335,999 roubles, the Very – from 355,999 roubles and the IndiS – from 369,999 roubles.

During ten months of 2011 Chery sold 5,359 cars in Russia – that is 33% less than a year ago.
