Renault set its own record in Russia in March

Russian dealers of Renault sold 13236 cars in March and it was more by 87% than in the previous year. As it was remarked, this was a historical record of month sales for the whole presence of Renault in the Russian market. By the results of I quarter of 2011 the sales of brand were 31031 cars in Russia (+92,6%).
The permanent bestseller of Renault in Russia is Logan, which was sold in amount of 7115 units in March. The hatchback Sandero is on the second place with an indicator of 3489 of sold cars. As it was remarked, the models Fluence and Megane hatchback, which are put into production by Moscow plant �Autoframos�, also showed the record indicators for a month of sales since the start of sales in the Russian market � 1287 and 682 cars, respectively.
Meanwhile, Renault continues to increase the production volumes in Russia. There were produced 31055 of cars in the assembly line of �Autoframos� since the beginning of year. At the end of March the plant Renault exceeded the mark of 600 cars a 24 hours day in Russia. So, the next step of production aim realization � to reach the full production capacity of 160 thousand cars a year in 2011 � was reached.
