KAMAZ increased the production by 76% in March

By the results of March KAMAZ produced 4 thousand vehicles sets and it was more by 76% than in the year before. The production increased by 445 units in compare with February. There were produced almost 9,9 thousand trucks in the Kama assembly line from the beginning of year and it exceeded by 43% the previous year indicator.
According to the business-plan of KAMAZ for 2011, KAMAZ plans to produce and to sell 35806 vehicles this year, with account of medium-tonnages vehicles and it will be more by 10,8% than in the previous year. Among them 30966 vehicles will be sold in the Russian market and 4840 vehicles will be sold abroad.
It should be also remarked that the joint venture of KAMAZ and German concern Daimler AG � �Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok� officially launched the line of trucks Mercedes-Benz assembly in Naberezhnye Chelny from March 11th. It should be reminded that the assembly of trucks Mercedes-Benz was started on September 30th and there were assembled more than 100 trucks Mercedes-Benz since then. In 2011 the joint venture of KAMAZ and Daimler plan to produce more than a thousand of trucks.
