Hyundai starts the export of cars of Russian production

Company Hyundai Motor starts the export of saloon cars of C-segment, which are produced in the plant �Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus� in St. Petersburg. The fist deliveries of Russian car Hyundai will be started in April 2011.
At the present time the company concluded agreements of Russian assembly Hyundai cars deliveries with some countries of CIS, such as Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Byelorussia, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The total amount of export orders, which are planned for 2011, are 7-8 thousand cars, Hyundai cars, which are exported in CIS countries won�t be imposed by customs duties, as the additional cost of their production in Russia exceeds 50%. The plant �Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus� plans to increase the number of countries-exporters of Hyundai cars.
�We are sure that the customers of CIS countries will estimate our cars. We plan to increase the production capacity of plant to 200 thousand cars a year and to introduce the third shift this year to satisfy the orders of our clients�, - remarked the General Manager of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus�, Chong Gui Il.
At first the capacity of plant Hyundai in St. Petersburg was 150 thousand cars a year but this indicator will be increased to 200 thousand units by 2012. In 2011 the plant is going to produce 105 thousand cars.
