The Russian market LCV fell down on the fifth place in Europe

The Russian market of light commercial vehicles, which was on the fourth place in the European championship by the results of October, fell down on the fifth place in the previous month, the analysts of AUTOSTAT agency noted. Therewith, the sales of LCV had the highest growth of sales in November this year.
According to the data that were received by AUTOSTAT agency in the European association of car makers (ACEA), the sales of light commercial vehicles increased by 12,1% to 137685 vehicles in Europe in November. The leader by sales of LCV before 3,5 tonnes among the European countries is still France, where it was sold 36006 vehicles that is more by 7,7% than in the previous year. Germany is on the second place with the indicator of 20007 units (+28,4%). Great Britain showed a little bit less result 19174 units (+26,1%). Italy climbed on the fourth place, there were sold 16086 light commercial vehicles (+2%). If we take into consideration Russia during the estimation of European market of LCV, then our country fell down from the fourth place to the fifth place in the previous month. According to the estimation of AUTOSTAT agency, the sales of light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 62,4% to 15146 units by the results of November. The analysts of AUTOSTAT agency remarked that this is the highest indicator of growth this year. Italy closes the row of five leaders, there were sold 15041 light commercial vehicles (-6,1%).
As it was written in the report Structure and forecast for LCV park in Russia, the park of light commercial vehicles included 3,41 million units in Russia as of the beginning of 2010. The light commercial foreign vehicles park has only 34% share and this figure grows very slowly in contrast to the passenger car park where the share of foreign production cars is almost 40% and this figure goes on to grow rapidly.
