The Russian market of LCV became the third in Europe

The Russian market of LCV which during several last months took the fifth place in the European superiority, following the results of August for the first time this year joined "three" of leaders, analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" state. According to experts, such high result of the Russian car market is caused, first of all, by more expressive seasonal fluctuations of car sales in Europe. According to calculations of the agency "AUTOSTAT", sales of LCV in Russia following the results of August grew by 45.7% to 13688 units and this is the third result after France (21674 units, +11.4%) and Germany (14057 units, +12.6%).
The new report Structure and forecast of the LCV park in Russia says that the park of light commercial vehicles of Russia as of the beginning of 2010 totaled over 3.41 million units. Unlike the passenger park where about 40% fall on cars of foreign manufacture and this figure continues to grow quickly, the park of LCV makes 34% and grows by small rates.
