Peugeot increased sales of LCV in Russia by 18%

Following the results of 2009 sales of light commercial vehicles Peugeot in Russia grew by 18% while in general LCV segment fell practically twice. They say in Peugeot Citroen Rus that it was possible to reach such index due to effective marketing strategy in the market and to special offers which the brand was developing for its clients within the whole 2009.
Peugeot Partner Tepee and Peugeot Boxer in various versions became the best sold models of Peugeot in the market of light commercial transport. According to the data of the agency "AUTOSTAT", in 2009 3681 Peugeot Partner Origin and Partner New cars were sold in Russian market of LCV, realization of Boxer constituted 1917 cars. Analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" remark in the report of LCV market in Russia, that Peugeot Partner is the third popular foreign LCV model in Russia after Fiat Ducato and Ford Transit, that is explained by belonging of Partner to the bottom price segment of LCV sector which is traditionally in great demand. The brand Peugeot following the results of 9 months of 2009 takes the fourth place among brands with the share of 5.4% in the Russian market of light commercial vehicles.
