KAMAZ will deliver sets to Daimler

On June.24 � 25, before the general meeting of shareholders of OAO �KAMAZ�, the representatives of the German automotive concern Daimler AG visited the enterprises of Kamskij car factory and negotiated with its direction. The parts confirmed the intention to develop the cooperation and planned the cooperation.
There were also discussed projects on installation of special sets, output at the enterprises of OAO �KAMAZ�, onto chassis of trucks Mercedes, as well as organization of deliveries of products �KAMAZ - Metallurgy� to enterprises of German company and its using in trucks Mercedes. Now Daimler is studying which forged pieces and mouldings would be used, seven details have already been chosen. The material and quality of these details have been checked; in the nearest time there will be started deliveries from KAMAZ to Daimler.
There were reached agreements about exchange of experience between Daimler and KAMAZ in the branch of organization of production and application of modern technologies at Kamskij car factory, as well as training of its personal. Besides, KAMAZ will use the experience and developments of the German company on organization of purchases of high qualitative sets for its trucks.
The executive vice � president � the head of department of realization of trucks in the countries of Europe and Latin America of the company Daimler Gubertus Troska estimated high the antirecessionary measures, undertaken by the direction of KAMAZ, and expressed his certainty in outlooks of cooperation of two companies.
