China may refuse of purchase of General�s Motors brand Hummer. As Autonews reported, referring on Chinese mass media, the company Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. has to get approval of antimonopoly- and control authorities of China for official participation in the bargain. Now there is a possibility that the regulating authorities of the country would refuse the company in purchase of Hummer.
The named reason is a contradiction of conception of cars Hummer in the strategy of China that is directed on limitation of consumption of energetic resources and production of low � cost economical cars. The state departments of China also doubt that the company Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. will be able to manage such difficult production. Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery is a private company, dealing with construction of roads and production of energetic equipment.
