AVTOVAZ reduces the direction staff on one third

The participants of committee of directors of AVTOVAZ approved the reduction of nine vice � presidents of the factory.
This was reported for the newspaper �Kommersant� by the president of committee of directors of the factory - the general director of the state corporation �Rustechnologies� Sergej Chemezov, having refused to name the dismissed persons. He only noted that the committee has taken a decision about the final reduction of income of top � managers, who will go on working at AVTOVAZ. The question at issue is reduction of salaries by 20%, as well as a full abolition of bonuses and all prizes. As Mr. Chemezov reported, now the enterprise will have a new system of encouragement, according to which the prize will be based on coefficient of personal activity.
The dismissal of nine vice � presidents means the reduction of the direction staff of AVTOVAZ on one third. Now the direction staff has 27 people. These are: the president Boris Aleshin, two first vice presidents Igor Komarov (became the member of direction on Monday) and Jan Vincent (representative of owner of the blocking part of shares of AVTOVAZ of the French concern Renault), as well as 10 major vice � presidents, 13 vice � presidents and a secretary of direction.
Neither vice � presidents nor shareholders of the factory know exactly who will be dismissed. The decision of staff questions is the prerogative of Boris Aleshin. He refused to name the persons in the interview for �Kommersant�. The majority of interlocutors of the edition admit that the vice � presidents now are the former executive directors of AVTOVAZ or advisers; we should expect the dismissals of these people. Mr. Aleshin does not exclude the possibility of offering them other positions, he accentuated that �some people will be dismissed � these questions will be decided within one month�.
It is not by accident that the information about reduction of staff of vice �presidents appeared at the same time with �coming� of Igor Komarov to the factory. The new executive vice � president is called the protege of the deputy director of �Rustechnologies�, the head of antirecessionary committee of AVTOVAZ Igor Zavjalov. Unofficially �Rustechnologies� said that the main goal of Igor Komarov will be control of expenses and finances at AVTOVAZ. Before Mr. Komarov appeared at the factory, Boris Aleshin noted that the direction, consisting of 27 people is �absolutely normal direction, created on the principles of direction system of Renault�. According to his opinion, the direction of such difficult production as AVTOVAZ needs this number of vice � presidents.
