Sales of cars in New Zeland are falling on the background of growth of prices

In New Zeland, on totals of March there were sold 4881 cars this is by 28, 6% more than the index of February, which is by 23, 3% less than in March of the last year. Realization of commercial cars constituted 1564 units, which is by 23, 8% more than the volume of sales in February, but by 37, 2% less against the level of 2008. As the Association of motor manufacturers reported, the decrease of sales of cars in New Zeland is caused by growth of prices, which is caused by fall f the national currency dollar of New Zeland. The experts expect that the raise of price of cars will go on later.
Toyota is the leader in the segment of passenger and commercial cars, but the result of Hyundai was unexpected: it moved from the fourth to the second place, the third place in the TOP 3 of records belongs to Ford. The most salable model in New Zeland is still Toyota Corolla, followed by Holden Commodore and Ford Focus.
