Market of automotive crediting is starting to revive

Market of automotive crediting, decreased this winter almost in five times, is starting to revive. This conclusion is made by specialists of the analytic agency AUTOSTAT in the monthly overview of automotive market. The analysts say that in March April several car manufacturers offered new crediting programs. Conditions of getting the credit are close to those before crisis. According to opinion of director of the agency AUTOSTAT Sergej Tselikov, this process was mainly influenced by stabilization of exchange rate of currency.
Besides, significant reduction of demand at the Russian market forces the car manufacturers to search for new incentives for attraction of buyers. Russian commercial banks also take part in the process. Having realized that they are not in the program of privileged car crediting, they started to develop joint projects with foreign car manufacturers. Among them are: UniCreditBank, Gazprombank, Rusfinance Bank, Alfa Bank, Raiffeisenbank, Bank Uralsib and etc.
The car manufacturers understand the situation and assume a part of costs by joint crediting programs, among them are: Ford, KIA, Renault, Volkswagen and a range of other brands. At the same time in April three chosen banks (Sberbank, VTB and Rosselkhozbank) started to give subsidized credits on cars of Russian assembly at price until 350 thsd rur. The analysts of AUTOSTAT estimate that until 90% of those credits account on production of AVTOVAZ. This is explained by the fact that foreign cars of Russian assembly (bundling until 350 thsd rur) exist only in written form, in fact they are not output. Nevertheless, the analysts note that the joint forces of government, banks and car manufacturers will lead to growth of volumes of automotive crediting, which will allow to keep the Russian automotive market from the further fall. The main thing now is to avoid the further fall of rubble. It is important that banks would have no wish to plunge into currency, said Sergej Tselikov. In his opinion, banks have enough money, there are debtors; the main reason of the overall fall of this market should be searched in the branch of consumer behavior in critical moments.
