KAMAZ is creating a joint venture on production of trucks in India

KAMAZ and the Indian company Vectra Group signed an agreement about creation of the joint venture on production of trucks KAMAZ for the Indian market. The Russian part has 51% of shares of this JV.
The factory will be situated in the city Hosur, 80 km from Bangalor. It foresees the production of 5 thsd trucks per year and starts functioning at the end of 2009.
