New direction of design of AVTOVAZ

The former vice president of the design center Renault Antony Grade is the director by design of AVTOVAZ. As the newspaper Seven - Verst reported, the order was signed on April, 21 by the president of AVTOVAZ Boris Aleshin.
As Antony Grade reported before, he would make face-lifting of some models at AVTOVAZ and develop the design of new models. A month ago the main designer of Renault Patrick Le Quement supposed in the interview for the newspaper Vedomosti that the first results of cooperation of designers Renault and AVTOVAZ would appear in two or three years.
Unfortunately, in this situation he [Antony Grade] can not do as much as he is able of, because the economical situation of AVTOVAZ is not easy, - said Mr. Le Quement. Crisis forces the car manufacturers delay their projects. Now AVTOVAZ, like us and other companies, tries not to invest into new projects, but to be occupied with daily management.
