AVTOVAZ will make estimation of the future model on base of Renault Logan

In spring 2009 the specialists of the scientific � technical center of AVTOVAZ will start testing of cars Renault. These are 5- and 7- seats universals R90 and a van F90, which will enlarge the model range of AVTOVAZ. We remind that September 2008 AVTOVAZ bought a license of Renault on production and distribution of these models on base of Renault Logan for 100 mln euro and plans to start their output in 2011.
Preparing to testing, which will include 10 cars, was started in April 2009. The program of testing is already established and includes laboratory, road tests and security tests. It will include long road testing, run on road covered with stones and with trailer. The estimation of cars will be realized on the test car roads of AVTOVAZ near the village Sosnovka, the road of the general use, as well as in the laboratory of the scientific � technical center of AVTOVAZ. The aim of testing is to check the construction of car�s reliability, adaptation level to Russian conditions of exploitation and the conformity to legislative requirements of Russia.
