AVTOVAZ will decrease the expenses on logistics

In the context of antirecessionary program, there was created a Coordinating Center on logistics at AVTOVAZ. Its aim is to optimize the work of the whole chain of transportation of articles. The global experience show that the potential of economy in this case could constitute to 20% from the costs of the enterprise of logistics. The main function of the Center will be the development of strategy and coordination of activity of the factory, concerning management of incoming transport (delivering materials and sets), of the internal transport (making transportation between the workshops) and of transport, taking out the cars. The aims of the Center will also be optimization of management of stock of materials and ready production.
The Coordinating Center will control the execution of strategy of the factory on management of chain of deliveries and to search the ways of decreasing the costs of the logistic component in the cost of production. The increase of coordination of actions of participants of logistic processes, the choice of correspondent transport and optimization of their route, reduction of tariffs on transportation by rail train and automotive transport will lead to stable development.
Finally, the Coordinating Center is headed by Maxim Liksutov, the deputy of president of the Committee of directors of OAO �RailTransAuto� � the filial society of OAO �Russian Railways� that renders complex logistic services to AVTOVAZ on delivery of cars to sale centers.
