UAZ delivered over 900 cars to Turkmenistan

Ulyanovskij car factory is finishing the delivery of UAZ cars for needs of agriculture of the Republic of Turkmenistan.
The agreement about delivery of 928 cars for needs of the Ministry of agriculture of the Southern Republic was reached in 2008 at the exhibition of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan. The production of Ulyanovskij car factory, in opinion of representatives of the government of Turkmenistan, is well adapted for exploitation and technical maintenance in conditions of this country. This is why UAZ cars left behind other cars, represented at the exhibition. In the context of the contract, UAZ delivers SUVs and four-wheel drive mini buses of four models: UAZ � 315122, UAZ-31519-017, UAZ-31519-095-01 and UAZ-22069-033. The first 314 cars were delivered to Turkmenistan at the end of the last year; in May it planned to deliver the last lot (128 units).
Deliveries to Turkmenistan occupy an important place in the structure of export sales of Ulyanovskij car factory. Every year the number of orders on cars UAZ is growing. Compare: in 2007 there were exported 328 cars to Turkmenistan, the last year�s delivery constituted 1578 cars. We remind that in 2008 the export sales of Ulyanovskij car factory grew by 5, 6 % to 12962 cars.
