Demand on petrol cars is falling in Italy

In Italy the sales of cars, using a liquefied oil gas (LPG) as fuel, grew by 32% in March after the government started to give 3500 euro for those who buy a new car. Last month, on data of Automotive News Europe, the Italians bought 19728 cars, using LPG. As it noted in overview of the automotive market of Italy for March, in connection with decrease of prices of diesel fuel, which took place on the background of price increase of petrol, the share of sales of diesel cars grew by 1, 1 % to 44, 7% against February. The most salable models on totals of March, using diesel fuel, were: Fiat Punto (5670 cars), Ford Fiesta (4883 cars), Volkswagen Golf (3706 cars), Ford Focus (3471 cars) and Fiat 500 (2809 cars).
