In Great Britain there may be introduced prize for utilization of old cars

The government of Great Britain is studying the possibility of introduction of subsidies for citizens, who utilize their old cars and buy new more ecological cars.
As Autonews reported, the government is discussing the scheme according to which there will be paid a prize (£2 thsd = 2, 2 thsd euro) for utilized car. The details of the program will possibly be announced by the government on the 22nd of April. According to opinion of activists of such bonuses, the given scheme will increase the demand on new cars and will support the automotive industry in the period of crisis. The opponents of this plan say that the automotive subsidies will cause additional growth of state expenses inadmissible, because a significant part of state sources is already destined for reconstruction of economics.
We remind that last month the sales of cars in Great Britain fell by 30, 5% to 313912 units. As it is noted in the overview of the automotive market of Great Britain for March, this index was 16 thsd cars � by 4, 9% less than the forecast one. So, the total annual forecast volume of realization, which constituted 1, 93 mln cars, was reduced to 1, 7 mln on totals of March. As the British Society of car manufacturers and car dealers suppose (SMMT), the result of sales of March reflects the state of consumer trust of commercial organizations and other buyers. In connection with this SMMT pay attention to the fact that Great Britan is the only one European market where there were taken no stimulating measures, which have already proved their efficiency in Germany, Italy and France.
