Russian car market is on the fifth place in Europe on totals of March

Car market of Russia, which pretended to be the leader in Europe during last year and which on totals of some months was leaving behind Germany, continued to loose positions in the European leadership on totals of March. We remind that in January and February of 2009 Russia was on the fourth place and on totals of the last month it lost one position.
In March the sales of cars in Germany grew by 39, 9% to 400965 units against the same month of 2008. The second place belongs to Great Britain, despite the 30, 5% fall to 313912 units (last months Great Britain was on the fifth place). So, the third place belongs to Italy � 214218 of realized cars (+0, 2%); France was on the fourth place � 204095 of sold cars (+8, 1%). Russian is on the fifth place in the TOP � 5 of biggest car markets of Europe: in March there were sold 135446 cars (- 47%).
