Magneti Marelli will launch the second Russian factory in the middle of summer

Italian manufacturer of automotive components Magneti Marelli plans to launch the second factory in Russia in June � July. Now Magneti Marelli outputs head � and back � lights at the enterprise of the filial company Automotive Lighting in Ryazan. As the general director of Magneti Marelli Eugenio Radzelli reported in the interview for the newspaper �Vedomosti�, the new enterprise have a developed output of dashboards and exhaust systems; then it is planned to develop production of suspensions and shock-absorbers.
According to opinion of Eugenio Radzelli, as a result of exceed of customs rates on import of foreign cars to Russia, Russian manufacturers will start to sell more cars and to buy more sets of local production. That is why Magneti Marelli is still concentrated on output of production in Russia for Russian car manufacturers.
