Production of cars in China has record rates: 32 000 cars a day

For the end of March there were registered over 170 mln of motor transport vehicles in China. The average increase of park of cars in the first quarter of 2009 constituted 32 thsd cars a day. This information was published by the newspaper �Ghenmin Ghibao� with reference on data of department of transport of the Ministry of public security of China.
The edition informs that the most significant growth is seen at park of transport with volume of engine to 1, 6 l. The policy of government of stimulation of demand contributes to this tendency. The policy foresees the reform of tax on oil, decrease of tax on purchase of cars with small capacity of engine, as well as development of program, called �popularization of cars and motorcycles in the village�.
Experts note that the rates of growth of the automotive park of China are increasing every month. Moreover, we see a constant growth of quantity of private cars, whose share is over three quarters (76, 5%) from the total number of vehicles.
Recently there was published a document, prepared together by 8 ministries and departments of China. The document foresees additional measures on stimulation of market. The document has five main directions: firstly, to contribute actively to sale of new cars; secondly, to make effort for development and regulating of market of second hand cars; third, to speed up the utilization of old cars; fourthly, to develop the automotive market in villages; fifthly, to increase the credit support for enlarging of market of automotive crediting.
