UAZ finished the IV quarter of 2008 with profit of 180 mln rur

The car factory in Ulyanovsk finished the IV quarter of 2008 with clear profit of 180, 3 mln rur. Compare, in the IV quarter of 2007 the factory got a clear profit of 575 mln rur.
As the representative of Sollers informed the newspaper �Vedomosti�, the profit reduced because production of chassis Isuzu was moved from UAZ to the joint venture �Isuzu - Elabuga� in Tatarstan in February of 2008. As a result, as the analysts of �AUTOSTAT� note, on totals of 2008 the car factory in Ulyanovsk decreased the production by 3, 5% to 72181 cars. The volumes of output of the model range UAZ remained at the level of 2007. The realization of UAZ at the internal and external markets grew by 2, 3% last year and constituted 72, 3 thsd cars.
In opinion of experts, the following helped UAZ to get profit: average volumes of production and little credit �load� (credit debt of the enterprise was 25, 1 bln rur).
The production plan of UAZ for 2009 is 53 thsd cars, which is by 10% less than the last year. Because of fall of demand on totals of the year the proceeds can constitute 26 bln rur, according to opinion of experts
