Russian dealers brought a batch of new Iranian sedans Iran Khodro Dena, which is not officially supplied to our country. The price of the new product is 1.6 - 1.7 million rubles, depending on the dealer, writes the Autonews.ru portal. Under the hood of the Iran Khodro Dena there is a 1.7-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp, which works in combination with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The sedan's maximum speed is 205 km/h. The model's equipment includes, among other things, central locking, a sunroof, heated front and rear seats, heated rear-view mirrors, a rain and light sensor, parking sensors, a rear view camera, cruise control, air conditioning, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and directional stability system. You can also buy the Iran Khodro Tara sedan in Russian car dealerships. This car is based on the French PSA PF1 platform, which in Iran is called IKCO IKP1. The Tara sedan is a modified Peugeot 301. At the same time, the models retain common body elements and interior. The car is equipped with a 1.6-liter Peugeot TU5P petrol engine, which has a power of 113 hp.
“As Iran does not produce the most modern cars, they have little chance of occupying a large market share in our country. After all, the Russian consumer chooses, first of all, externally attractive cars. And brand reputation. For Iranian cars, these parameters are far from being in first place. From a positioning point of view, they can trade in the niche of cheap sedans, which are actively purchased by corporate fleets and which are now sorely lacking,” comments Alexey Makarov, director of development and corporate management of the Nizhegorodets company.
