10,360 Geely cars were sold on the Russian market in October, which is 3.3 times more in compare with the same month in 2022. At the end of ten months of 2023, 69,384 Geely crossovers and SUVs were sold in our country, which is 3.7 times higher than the same period last year. As a result, Geely took fourth place in sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand's market share was 8.4% versus 3.6% a year before.
Experts from the AUTOSTAT agency reported this with reference to data from PPK JSC* and taking into account their own segmentation. The most popular Geely model on the Russian market in October for the first time was the mid-size crossover Monjaro with 3,477 vehicles. The compact crossover Geely Coolray dropped to second place, chosen by 3,035 buyers (an increase of 2.2 times).
The third result was shown by the Geely Atlas Pro crossover – 2,123 vehicles sold (an increase of 3.4 times). As AUTOSTAT previously reported, sales of the updated Geely Coolray crossover began on the Russian market in October, and in November the new Emgrand sedan appeared at dealers.
