FSUE "NAMI" plans to launch the production of the anti-lock braking system ABS and dynamic stabilization system ESP for cars at the former Robert Bosch Samara plant (current name - "NAMI Innovative Components") in mid-2024. The general director of the enterprise, Fedor Nazarov, told the TASS agency about it. According to him, NAMI has reached an agreement on the supply of systems to AVTOVAZ. In addition, GAZ Group, Sollers and Haval expressed interest in supplies.
From 2025, the company plans to reach a design capacity of 500 thousand ABS and ESP systems. The systems are being developed jointly with an eastern partner. The project is divided into three stages, the last of which will be achieving a 100% localization level, explained Fedor Nazarov. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, FSUE NAMI entered into a deal to acquire 100% of the shares of Robert Bosch Samara LLC in September 2023. Previously, this enterprise, located in the Samara region, was engaged in the production of steering systems, the ABS anti-lock braking system and the ESP dynamic stabilization system.
At the time of the transaction, the Robert Bosch Samara company employed 107 employees who will continue to work at the company in the future. Let us recall that the Bosch company began construction of a plant for the production of automotive components in Samara in February 2014, and in July 2015 the enterprise was put into operation.
