Kaiyi E5 sedan received a new top version

The Chinese Kaiyi E5 sedan, which is produced at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, has received a new top-end version called Luxury Sport. The cost of the new product is 2 million 193 thousand rubles, experts from the Price Auto website found out. We should recall that before this the model was available in Luxury and Luxury+ trim levels worth 2 million 115 thousand rubles and 2 million 160 thousand rubles, respectively. The only difference between the Luxury Sport and the previous top version is the front bumper with red decorative elements.

Otherwise, its equipment is completely the same as the Luxury+ package. We should remind that these Kaiyi E5 are equipped by default with 17-inch wheels, front and side airbags, LED optics, keyless entry with an engine start button, eco-leather seats, electrically adjustable driver's seat, contour lighting, wireless charging for a smartphone, climate control, sunroof, all-round camera, two USB ports, 12-volt socket, stability control system, electromechanical handbrake and a media system with a 10.25-inch display and six audio speakers.

In addition, the equipment of the "top" sedans includes a 10-inch diagonal digital instrument panel (instead of a "tidy" with a 7-inch screen and an analog instrument dial), as well as heated windshield washer nozzles and a heated steering wheel. Under the bonnet of the Kaiyi E5 there is a non-alternative 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 147 hp. (210 Nm), which works in combination with a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. The manufacturer allows the use of AI-92 gasoline.

As part of its adaptation to Russian operating conditions, the Kaiyi E5 sedan received not only a modified suspension, but also additional “warm” options. Especially for the harsh Russian climate, additional treatment of the bottom and sills is carried out with a special anti-corrosion compound in the manufacturing plant.
