From July 16 to July 31, 2023, six brands officially represented in the Russian market have changed to new cars. This was found out by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" based on the results of processing the monitoring data of the site "Auto Price". It is noted that this list includes four Chinese brands and two domestic ones. Almost all of these cars went up in price in the second half of the month, but there are some that went down. So, during this period, both TANK SUVs noticeably increased in price: if the "three hundredth" became more expensive by 200 thousand rubles (plus 4.7 - 5.1%), then the "five hundredth" - by 900 thousand (plus 15.0 - 16 .7%).
Moreover, this is their second rise in price during July. Other Chinese brands also raised car prices. Among them, Chery "distinguished itself" most of all, in which almost the entire model range became more expensive (from 1.2% to 2.9%). Six models have become more expensive by 50 thousand rubles (Tiggo 7 PRO, Tiggo 7 PRO Max, Tiggo 8, Tiggo 8 PRO, Tiggo 8 PRO Max, Arrizo 8), and one - by 60 thousand (Tiggo 4 PRO). This process did not affect only the Tiggo 8 PRO e + hybrid crossover. But the brands OMODA and Haval increased the prices for their cars by 50 thousand rubles. But if the first of them has risen in price for both models, then for the second - only three. As a result, the OMODA C5 crossover became more expensive by 1.6 - 2.0%, and the S5 sedan - by 2.0 - 2.3%. For the Haval Jolion crossover, the price increase was 2.0 - 2.6%, for the F7 - from 1.6% to 2.2%, and for the F7x - from 1.5% to 2.1%.
Domestic automakers did not stand aside from this process, changing prices for individual models. Thus, at AVTOVAZ, the LADA Niva Travel SUV in two trim levels became more expensive by 5,000 rubles (+0.4%), while LADA Granta in three versions, on the contrary, fell in price by 3,000 rubles (-0.4%). In turn, the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant increased the cost of commercial models of the SGR family (Classic) by 5-10 thousand rubles (plus 0.4-0.8%).
